On many construction sites, safe zones and fire safety areas are often used. These are primarily allocated as areas that workers can proceed towards in the event of a safety hazard. They are also, although less commonly, used as areas of safety in the event of a security violation.
The threat of a security violation is an issue that construction companies often have to deal with. This is especially true of companies that operate in areas that are known to be dangerous in regards to issues of security.
For this reason security safe zones are allocated. Fire safety areas on the other hand are subtlety different, but differentiate in considerable factors.
A fire safety area may have a similar area of space to a security safe zone, but differ in its placement on a construction site. It is placed far away from combustible materials and objects, and in an area that avoids these things when it needs to be reached.
